What can I say.. I love painting! 

We paint because we have too.  It's the way runners have to run!  I love things that are beautiful and when I paint them it just simply makes me happy.

"From the Heart"

There are certain things that always seem beautiful, and maybe its the complexity of them and the simplicity combined.  Simple on the outside, (easier the capture in paint)  more complex in the inside.  And of course beautiful rich colors.  Hope you enjoy the feeling and beauty in these simple pomegranates.

So I decided to paint another white tulips painting.  I just love white tulips.

I feel the simplicity works wonders, I think in art I can get carried away so quickly by all the choices, in color.   Color is one that is powerful when it is under control. 

 

Well, all that being said I love color.

In this painting I was inspired by th white tulips I bought from Safeway.

I love white flowers, and I love Tulips!  So it was a delight painting this.
