up close and personal

I had this old chopping block in my studio and decided to sit at my table top easel and work on something really close to me and on a material that I like.  So here is what I came up with.  I was happy  

, quite happy with what I painted.  So some days it's good to work with what you have right around you in your home or studio.   Hope you enjoy!
